Along   with  learning  too  readed  the  wind  and  reading  the   visible  horizon. What  else  does  it  take  to  make  that  good  shot  or  to  be  in  the  winning  circle  or  take  out  the   center  of  the  target  or  the  X's ?  Well  its  all  about   " consistency "  ! This   high   tech   teflon   coated   patch   can  give  you  that  consistency either  shooting  in  the  northern  or  southern  climates  in  all  weather  conditions  being  winter,  summer,  spring  or  fall .  which  is  my  favorite  season  by  the  way .  the  teflon  coated   shooting  patch.  Do  you  know  how  teflon  came  about . Would  you  like  a  one  minute  story  before  we move  on . yea  ! { One  day  in  1938  DuPont  scientist  named  Dr  Roy  Plunkett  was  playing  around  with  a  gas  call  tetrafluoroethylene  he  was  trying  to  make  a  coolant  like  a  freon  .  but  he  made  a  mistake  and he  polymerized  the  gas  into  a  kind  of  nasty  waxy  solid  which  was  chemically  immersed  and  extremely  slippery.  He  didn't  know  what      to  do  with  it  but  he  went  ahead  named  it  Polytetrafluoroethylene  or  teflon  for  short .  The  military  used  it  for  a  little  while  they  coated   parts   inside   atom  b ombs.  Then they  put  it  on  nose  cones  of  missiles .  But  it  took  a  frenchmen  a  fisherman  in  fact  to  start  applying  it  to  thing   culinary .  He  started   by  put  it  on  fishing  tackle  so  it  wouldn't  tangle  up .  Then  his  wife  ask  him  to put it  inside
 one  of  her  pots.
The  rest   is  non   stick   history.   the  pan  made   a   couple  of   mint   and   to  this   day  teflon   is   considered  " the  slipperiest  substance  on  earth ".  The  preferred  teflon  coated  shooting  patch  which  comes  into  play  right  now  after   your   powder   load.  As  you  lay   the  teflon  coated  patching  on  the  false  muzzle  applying  your  projectile  or  bullet.  This  teflon  coated  shooting  patch  is  starting
to  do  its  magic  by  reducing  friction  .
by  engaging  with  the  ball  and  rifling  as  you  short  start  the  ball  and  patch   down    the  bore  barrel.  . This  teflon  coated  shooting  patch   leaves   a  lightly  even  film  of
Teflon  all  the  way  around  the  rifling  and  bore  as  you
ramrod  your  ball  and  patch  home  to  the  breech .
 You
can  now  rest  assured  that  when  you  squeeze  the  trigger  in  that  great  long  expectation  of  that  flash  ignition. The  teflon  coated  patch  and  projectile  traveling  through  the  bore  barrel  now  will   give
you the  lowest  coefficient  of  friction  that  is   possible  at  its  highest  velocity and   Reducing   friction  wear  on  the  bore  and  rifling  .
the   projectile  now  gliding   through   the   bore  barrel   hits    its    trajectory   line   more   consistently .  Just  the  way  you  want   it   r
epeating  more  rounds  with  greater  accuracy    tighter  groupings   and  having   higher   scores  more  kill shot  .  just One  more  quick   mention  about  Teflon  resistance  to   van Der   Waals   forces "  means  that  its  is  the  only  known  surface  to  which  a  gecko  cannot  stick!      Blackpowder muzzleloader shooters .   This  teflon  coated preferred shooting  patch  is ..............................
