Muzzle
loaders must determine what size patch is required for their
rifle. There are four easy steps to this process. You will
need a micrometer tool.

Take
your caliber bore diameter. |

Take
your ball diameter. |
3. |
Subtract
your ball diameter from your bore diameter. |
4. |
Divide
by two. |

The
Minute-Men sells patching material by the running yard (36
" x 28 -thirty six inches long by twenty eight inches
wide). You can get two hundred to three hundred shots per
yard depending on how you cut it :
